Booking Terms QHSE Campus

1. Scope

These booking terms apply to the use of the QHSE Campus and to the booking of digital self-paced training courses by companies, organisations and private individuals.

They supplement the General Terms and Conditions of the Contractor and apply to all bookings made via the website, by e-mail or via other booking options provided by the Contractor.

2. Booking and conclusion of contract

  • Digital self-paced training courses can be booked via the Contractor's website, by e-mail or via the customer portal of the QHSE Campus.
  • Quotations can be provided via the website (in the account of a Campus Manager) or by e-mail. For individual advice and quotations, the Contractor's sales team is available by telephone or e-mail.
  • A booking becomes binding as soon as:
    • the user or the company completes the booking independently via the system provided, or
    • the Contractor's quotation is confirmed as binding by the Client.
  • After a successful booking, a booking confirmation is sent automatically by the QHSE Campus system.

3. Creation and administration of a company account

  • A company is created in the QHSE Campus either by:
    • an independent booking by the company, or
    • with the support of the Contractor's sales team.
  • When a company is created, a responsible person is registered as Campus Manager.
  • The Campus Manager is the company's central contact person for the administration of the QHSE Campus.
  • The Campus Manager can in particular:
    • enrol participants in digital self-paced training courses,
    • view the learning progress of participants,
    • extend usage periods,
    • make further bookings,
    • manage the company data in the QHSE Campus,
    • manage certificates.

4. Bookable services and licences

  • Digital self-paced training courses can be booked individually or as a package.
  • The Contractor offers single-user licences as well as packages with several licences.
  • For package bookings, individual licences can be used and activated individually in accordance with the agreed number.
  • Further participants can be added at any time, provided that corresponding capacities or licences are available.

5. Provision and usage period

  • Access to booked digital self-paced training courses is generally activated immediately after a successful booking with instant payment methods. For payment by invoice, activation takes place after receipt of payment.
  • The usage period is 60 days from activation of the respective self-paced training course, unless otherwise agreed.
  • After the usage period has expired, access to the respective self-paced training course is deactivated automatically. The course content can no longer be viewed after the usage period has expired.
  • Timely extension or rebooking is required for further use.

6. Terms of payment

  • Payment is made according to the payment method selected during the booking process.
  • Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction.
  • The available payment methods are displayed during the booking process.
  • The Contractor may offer discounts, special promotions or individual conditions. There is no entitlement to such benefits.

7. Changes and cancellations

  • Changes to bookings can be made in consultation with the Contractor.
  • A change may in particular concern the adjustment of participants, licences or booked digital self-paced training courses.
  • Cancellations are generally possible. The respective requirements, deadlines and any costs incurred are regulated separately.
  • Changes of participants are possible provided that the respective digital self-paced training course has not yet been started. A cancellation is free of charge within 7 days of booking, provided that the training has not yet been started. After this period, cancellation remains possible; in this case, 50 % of the agreed price will be charged. Alternatively, the booked service can be transferred to another person in consultation with the Contractor and used at a later date.

8. Technical requirements and support

  • The use of the QHSE Campus requires an internet-enabled device and suitable technical equipment.
  • Digital self-paced training courses can be used on mobile devices.
  • Via the app, content can also be worked on offline after prior download. An internet connection is required for updates and synchronisation.
  • The Contractor offers support during normal office hours, as shown in the contact form.
  • The QHSE Campus may be extended in future with further digital functions and support services. There is no entitlement to the provision of specific additional functions.

9. Completion, tests and certificates

  • After successful completion of a digital self-paced training course and passing the intended final test, a certificate is created automatically.
  • The certificate is sent to the participants automatically by e-mail.
  • The Campus Manager can view the processing status, start date and completion date of the participants.
  • If the app is used entirely offline, the status can only be updated after reconnecting to the internet.

10. Data access by Campus Managers

  • The Campus Manager receives access to the information required for the administration of the company account.
  • This includes in particular:
    • enrolled participants,
    • processing status of the digital self-paced training courses,
    • start and completion dates.
  • Personal data is not passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so or an express agreement has been made.

11. Guest access and demo content

  • The Contractor may provide guest access for demonstration purposes.
  • Guest access allows viewing of selected digital self-paced training courses and, where applicable, content that will become available in future.
  • There is no entitlement to the permanent provision of guest access or specific demo content.
  • Demo content is used exclusively for information and evaluation purposes.
